Paragraph 1 – Introduction:

The first paragraph of your letter should include information on why you are writing. Mention the position you are applying for and where you found the job (Instrumentation Engineer) listing. Include the name of a mutual contact, if you have one.

Paragraph 2 and 3 – Description:

Here is your chance to tell why you are interested in the employer or type of work the employer does (Simply stating that you are interested does not tell why, and can sound like a form letter). Email Cover Letter tips

In case of sending your cover letter via email, in the email body include the salutation, write your contact information in your email signature, and mention your attached resume. Also write a Subject line, that should includes your name and job position (e.g. Instrumentation Engineer). Never use an unprofessional email address.
